What steps do I need to take to ensure my booking?
To confirm your booking, payment upfront for a Le Shuttle ticket, which includes the pet fee, is required so that we can proceed with the reservation. Additionally, our service fee must be paid up to 48 hours before our driver departs from Folkestone to pick you up. If cancellation occurs within 48 hours or less of the scheduled pickup time, the payment for our service is non-refundable.
Be aware that only Le Shuttle FlexiPlus tickets are eligible for refunds. Consequently, refunds will only be issued for FlexiPlus tickets. For other Le Shuttle ticket types, although we cannot refund the ticket cost, we will return the Le Shuttle ticket to you.
Is it necessary for my pet to undergo a veterinary examination before traveling internationally?
Keep in mind that pet travel requirements can differ from one country to another. Therefore, it’s essential to verify the specific requirements of the destination country for your pet’s travel.
What's the typical duration of the journey?
The duration of your journey varies based on your departure point and destination. For instance, an average journey from Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris to London typically takes around 6 hours, inclusive of the Channel Tunnel crossing.
What documentation is required for my pet to enter the UK?
To travel with pets to the UK, your dog, cat, or ferret must have a microchip and a valid rabies vaccination. An Animal Health Certificate (AHC) is required if traveling from the UK, while an EU Pet Passport is valid for pets coming from the EU. Tapeworm treatment is mandatory for dogs entering the UK and must be administered by a vet 1-5 days before arrival. Pets from non-EU countries may require additional health certificates.
What is the limit on luggage we can bring?
We allocate the appropriate size vehicle to ensure maximum comfort for you and your pets, including any necessary luggage. Please browse our vehicles to find one that suits your needs.
Is it possible for you to meet us at the airport?
We specialize in meeting our clients at various European airports, leveraging our drivers’ extensive experience in international travel. Simply inform us of your specific train station or airport.
